Dr. Nicole J. Siara-Olds was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. Dr. Siara-Olds' parents are both dentists and encouraged their children to also enter the field of dentistry. In 2000, Dr. Siara-Olds earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of Windsor, Ontario. After graduation, she attended the University of Detroit Mercy, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2004. Dr. Siara-Olds completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. During that time, she was part-time clinical faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry. She then proceeded to earn her Master of Science Degree and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Orthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy.
During her dental education, Dr. Siara-Olds achieved academic honors including, National Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors, Alpha Sigma Nu Honors, the American Association of Orthodontists Award and the Quintessence Award for Clinical Excellence in Restorative Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Michigan Association of Orthodontists, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Detroit District Dental Society. Dr. Siara-Olds met her husband, Dr. Steven J. Olds, at the University of Detroit Mercy. While away from the dental office, she enjoys golfing, skiing, playing tennis, as well as, playing the piano. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
