Both bridges and dentures only replace the visible top portion of the tooth, and leave nothing in place of the root. This can cause a condition called osseointegration, in which the loss of the tooth causes the underlying bone to slowly dissolve and deteriorate. Dental implants are also more stable than dentures, and do not require modification of surrounding teeth, as bridges do.

Just like you, every smile we treat is unique, so are the treatments we provide. While cosmetic treatment times may vary, many treatments are completed within one office visit.

Insurance coverage, and out-of-pocket expenses for cosmetic dentistry vary. At Great Expressions, our front desk team members will work with you and provide several treatment options and estimates, and we will coordinate with your insurance provider if coverage is available. You will know all treatment cost estimates up front, so that you can choose the best plan for your needs, and your budget.

Most people are candidates for tooth whitening, but again, each situation is unique, and we want to make sure you are clinically healthy for teeth whitening. Patients get a brighter, whiter smile, with removed staining and the confidence to smile more often when their teeth are whitened.

Typically, you can expect whitening to last six months to two years, although some studies report results lasting longer. Avoiding red wine, coffee, and smoking — all of which can cause staining — helps preserve long-lasting results.

Yes, many studies have proven that tooth whitening is safe. You can protect your tooth enamel by using calcium sulfate and fluoride.
