GEDC’s Dr. Paul Kim Elected as President of the Ninth District Dental Association

NEW CITY, NY – March 12, 2015 – Bloomfield Hills-based Great Expressions Dental Centers (GEDC), a leading dental service organization, announced the induction of Dr. Paul Kim to president of the Ninth District Dental Association. The association’s Nomination Committee, which is comprised of past association presidents, selected Dr. Kim for his more than 14 years of commitment and service to the association as well as his involvement in several of the committees, including the Audit Budget Finance Committee, Empire Dental Political Action Committee and the Board of Governors.

In this role, Dr. Kim will preside over the Board of Governors and chair the general meetings. Additionally, he will lead his association’s delegation at the New York State Dental Association and at the American Dental Association. He is also responsible for appointing all committee chairs and leading correspondence with all external organizations that impact the dental profession within the region. Lastly, Dr. Kim will lead the association in their dedication to promoting professionalism and quality; welfare of and service to the public and dental profession; education and scientific advancement; and comradery among members.

Dr. Kim is a clinical partner and shareholder within GEDC. He currently serves as the GEDC northwest clinical partner of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York where he is responsible for recruiting, development, compliance, quality control and assurance. Through his role on the company’s National Doctor Panel, which oversees all medical care at each of the dental group’s locations, Dr. Kim establishes clinical protocol and work flow efficiencies reviews, adoption and training of new technologies in group dental laboratory quality control.
