Great Expressions Promotes Ryan McKendry to Vice President of Business Development

(March 15, 2018) – Great Expressions Dental Centers, a leader in preventative dental care, today announced Ryan McKendry’s promotion to vice president of business development. In this role, he will be overseeing GEDC’s growth through affiliations, managing and negotiating deal agreements, and creating integration plans for newly affiliated offices.

McKendry joined GEDC in September 2014 as business development manager, and soon was promoted to director of business development in early 2015. During his first year as director of business development, the organization added a total of 23 offices to the GEDC footprint with combined revenue of approximately $29 million and $4.8 million in EBITDA. Additionally, in his role as director, McKendry further strengthened GEDC’s commitment to the communities it serves by organizing substantial donations to Detroit Public Schools and the Children’s Center of Detroit.

As vice president of business development, McKendry will work within the executive team and with private equity investors to ensure newly integrated practices are consistent with the organization’s current mission. Through these relationships, he will also monitor the acquisitions for cohesivity, both culturally and clinically, with an end result of economic growth throughout the organization.

A graduate of Hillsdale College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting, McKendry worked at two national accounting firms before joining GEDC.
